Returned stock buyer

Sell your retail returns and cancelled orders

Customer returns and cancelled orders pile up fast and you can't sell them as new. We buy returned stock outright, graded or ungraded, so it stops clogging up your warehouse.

The basics

What counts as retail returns stock?

Returns stock is product that's been sold, then come back, or was never delivered in the first place. Much of it is unused. It just can't go back on sale at full price as brand new. It covers:

  • Customer returns from online and in-store sales
  • Cancelled orders that were already picked, packed or shipped
  • Deliveries refused or rejected by a retail customer
  • Open-box, damaged-packaging and ex-display stock
  • Mixed returns pallets that haven't been sorted yet

Why it happens

Why returns stock keeps building up

Online return rates are high

Free, easy returns keep customers buying, but a steady share of everything you ship comes back.

Processing costs time

Checking, grading and repackaging every item takes staff hours that are usually needed elsewhere.

Orders get cancelled late

A trade customer changes their mind or rejects a delivery, and the stock lands back with you.

It can't go back as new

Opened boxes and scuffed packaging mean it won't sell alongside your new stock at full price.

What we buy

Returned stock we buy

We buy returns and cancelled orders across most consumer categories. Sorted or unsorted, tell us what you know and we'll work from there.

Unopened returns

Stock sent back unused and still sealed. Usually the best value.

Open-box returns

Opened but unused, or checked and working. Packaging may be marked.

Cancelled orders

Picked or shipped orders that never reached the customer.

Rejected deliveries

Trade deliveries refused by a retail customer or distributor.

Mixed returns pallets

Ungraded, unsorted pallets straight from your returns process.

Ex-display stock

Showroom and in-store display items coming off the floor.

Why act now

What unprocessed returns are costing you

Returns are easy to leave in a corner until there's time to deal with them. That time rarely comes, and the pile keeps growing.

  • Floor space taken up by stock nobody's working on
  • Staff time spent sorting, testing and repackaging
  • Value slipping as returned models go out of date
  • Messy stock records when returns sit outside your normal system

You don't need to sort or grade returns before selling to us. Send us what you know and we'll price it as it is.

FAQ

Selling retail returns: your questions

Do I need to grade or test returns before selling them?

No. If you've graded them, that helps us price accurately. If you haven't, tell us what you know and we'll value them as they are.

Do you buy damaged or faulty returns?

It depends on the product and the share that's faulty. Tell us roughly what's in the lot and we'll say upfront whether we can make an offer.

Can you take returns on a regular basis?

Yes. If returns build up every month, we can talk about a regular arrangement so they never pile up in the first place.

What's the difference between returns and cancelled orders?

Returns have reached the customer and come back. Cancelled orders were stopped before or during delivery, so they're usually in better condition. We buy both.

Will returned stock be resold under my brand?

If you have rules about where your stock can be resold, tell us at the start. We handle returns stock discreetly and will work within reasonable restrictions.
